Always read the label and follow the directions for use
Adults and children 12 years and over:
Day tablets: Take 2 green capsules
Night tablets: Take 2 red/white capsules
Every 4-6 hours as necessary. Maximum 6 day & 2 night capsules in 24 hours.
Paracetamol 500mg
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5mg
Each Night Capsule contains:
Paracetamol 500mg
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg
Chlorpheniramine Maleate 2mg
Do not use for children under 12 years, if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, if you have taken paracetamol. If you have taken antihistamines, if capsule foil is broken or if carton seal is missing or broken. Contains lactose
Ask your doctor before use if you are taking any antidepressants or are taking any other medicines to treat a cough and cold or have high blood pressure or have heart problems or are pregnant or breast feeding. Unless advised by a doctor do take this medicine for more than a few days at a time if you are an adult, do not give this medicine to children and adolescents for longer than 48 hours at a time without medical advice. Night tablets may cause drowsiness, if drowsy do not drive or operate heavy machinery. Avoid alcohol.
Phenylephrine may cause sleeplessness in some people. Keep to the recommended dose. If an overdose is suspected please contact the poisons information centre (Australia 131126 – NZ- 0800764766) or go to a hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed serious liver damage.
